Hi Jon,
Also, I'm increasingly interested in teaching (a motion graphics) class at CCA sometime in the future. I’ve really enjoyed my TA position and the thesis and EOY reviews.
I think I would be most excited and best suited to teach lead a motion graphics/animation course. I know I can introduce and push technical skills in After Effects (and maybe another quick intro to another platform). My goal would be to provide projects to challenge their (and my own) ideas of how they can use motion.
I always figured teaching was further down in my career, but now seeing a couple of classmates join the CCA staff, I’m sensing the possibility is nearer than I realized start on the path towards teaching.
Sara Dean mentioned that I aught to start by searching programs at other schools. But I’d also be happy to helping another instructor.
